Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)
The method of handling claims, payments, and revenue generation is known as RCM. RCM handles everything from determining patient eligibility for treatment to collecting co-pays and correctly coding claims.
The RCM process starts when a patient makes an appointment and ends when the healthcare provider, such as a doctor, accepts all payments.
